All information gathered through this web site will be kept strictly confidential in a private, protected file. Under no circumstances will any individual information be provided to any third-party. We seek information for two purposes: one, to provide educational updates, and to allow users to participate in activities of the Rocky Mountain MS Center; and two, for scientific purposes, to conduct surveys to explore the experiences of those with MS so that these may generate ideas for further study.

Our surveys are carefully designed so that no individually identifying information, including email addresses, can be connected with survey answers. The surveys are also designed so that all information is encrypted during transmission. Furthermore, our surveys have been approved by our Institutional Review Board.

Although we think that providing information through our registration system is safe, we are also aware of people's reluctance to provide information over the Internet generally. Accordingly, for those who are reluctant to provide information in spite of our assurances, we have provided a way to register without that does not require that any information be given.
