Volunteer Spotlight: June

By April 4, 2019February 7th, 2022eMS News

April 7-13, 2019 is National Volunteer Week! Please join us as we thank the wonderful volunteers who help us fulfill our mission: To improve the quality of life of individuals and their families living with MS and related neurological diseases through care, support, education and research. #NVW

Here at the RMMSC, some of our volunteers are more behind the scenes. We are very thankful for volunteers that help us with office tasks – assisting with mailings, setting up our events, and staffing booths at local community fundraisers. We are very thankful for our office volunteer, June Wagner.

June has volunteered with the RMMSC since 2014. We are very lucky to be able to call June when we get in a pinch and need an extra set of hands – from putting together fundraising packets for our year end campaign to stuffing gift bags for our Gala, June is a great sport. We appreciate the June takes on any task thrown at her and that she always finds time to help out.

When asked why she chose to volunteer at the RMMSC, June said “the RMMSC is a great organization that helps people locally. It’s important to support local organizations that make a difference.” We couldn’t do it without you, June – thank you for all that you do for the RMMSC!
