Welcome to the Rocky Mountain MS Center

Mission Statement

To improve the lives of people with MS and their families through care, support, education and research.

The Answers Begin Here

The Rocky Mountain MS Center is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1978 as one of the nation’s first comprehensive centers dedicated to the study and treatment of MS. The MS Center was created by doctors and other community leaders who had a deep concern for the losses suffered by people in the prime of their lives due to multiple sclerosis.

Today, the Rocky Mountain MS Center is an international leader in the search for the cause and the cure for multiple sclerosis and for the most effective treatments for patients who live with the disease.  We spend all of our time helping people who live with MS find answers that work and, at the same time, advancing critical MS research.  We offer a wide array of education and support programs, state-of-the-art medical care from a multidisciplinary team of caring physicians, an adult day enrichment program to assist in the care of a loved one, access to the most comprehensive complementary and alternative medicine program in the nation, and we house one of only four MS-related brain tissue banks in the nation.

Together with the University of Colorado Denver and the University of Colorado Hospital, we have created the Rocky Mountain Center at Anschutz Medical Campus.  By bringing together the experience and exceptional work in patient care and cutting-edge research that have distinguished these organizations for many years, we have created a world-class and comprehensive center for patient care and research that serves the Rocky Mountain region and has a national and international reach.
