Making Your Voice Heard

By June 27, 2017May 25th, 2021eMS News

The Senate may vote soon on a revised draft of the House-passed American Health Care Act.

We have heard from many of you who are concerned about the impact this legislation would have on your lives. This bill would impact many people directly and affect access to affordable, quality health insurance for people living with MS.  Under this proposal, every state would lose federal funding which means states would cut back on services for seniors and people with disabilities covered by Medicaid as well as reimbursement to providers.

To make your voice heard and express your views with your Senators, please call them today. Please urge consideration of your needs—and the needs of people living with MS.

If you live in Colorado, below is the contact information for both of your Senators:

Senator Cory Gardner:  303-391-5777 (Denver office) and 202-224-5941 (DC office)

Senator Michael Bennet:   303-455-7600 (Denver office) and 202-224- 5852 (DC office)

If you live outside of Colorado, you can call the U.S. Capitol Switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and the operator will connect you with your Senators’ offices.
