Volunteer Spotlight: Stevie

By April 24, 2017February 7th, 2022eMS News

April 23-29, 2017 is National Volunteer Week! Please join us as we thank the wonderful volunteers who help us fulfill our mission: To improve the quality of life of individuals and their families living with MS and related neurological diseases through care, support, education and research. #NVW

There are so many ways to volunteer with the Rocky Mountain MS Center, and Stevie Smith has volunteered with almost every program and event we host. We want to recognize Stevie during our volunteer week because she has helped out our organization so much in so many ways.

Stevie started out volunteering with our administrative offices by assisting with mailings, following up with attendees for event attendance, and helping out with our office needs. Stevie then got involved with our education programs, like Ed Summit, by welcoming and checking in attendees, and now Stevie volunteers at fundraising events like our Multiple Summits for MS (MS4MS) Kickoff. We love that sheis up for any task, and that she is a great ambassador for our organization.

We are lucky that Stevie connected with the Rocky Mountain MS center, and that she volunteers every week with our organization. Our fundraising and advocacy efforts are made possible because of volunteers like Stevie.
