Services / Fees
The KADEP staff covers all the areas necessary to deliver a quality experience for each client: nursing, social work, therapeutic recreation, exercise physiology, administration and trained volunteers. The therapeutic recreation internship brings college and university students from across the nation to KADEP each semester to complete their degree requirements by creating and leading new classes for the KADEP clients.

FEES

Located in North Denver on the Marycrest Campus, KADEP is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with scheduled activities from 9 am to 3 pm each day.

The daily fee is $75. A sliding scale fee is available for individuals with MS and who have limited incomes. KADEP is certified through the Colorado State Health Department as a Medicaid Home and Community Based Provider, and licensed as an Adult Day Care Provider by the State of Colorado. Individuals eligible for the HCBS program of Medicaid can have their fees paid by Medicaid. Fees are subject to change. Please ask for further information.

HOW TO APPLY

KADEP welcomes applicants with neurological disabilities and illnesses. Individuals living alone or with family in the community are invited. Individuals residing in nursing homes may be eligible if they are actively working on moving out of the nursing home and returning to community based living.
