The MS Clinic at Anschutz Medical Campus

The University of Colorado's MS Clinic was founded in 1997 ago by Dr. John Corboy. In 2008 Dr. Tim Vollmer joined Dr. Corboy as the Co-Director of the MS Clinic where today more than 20 physicians, nurses, therapists and staff serve multiple sclerosis patients across the Rocky Mountain region. Those who live with MS benefit from meticulous care provided by fellowship-trained physicians who have elected to specialize in multiple sclerosis. The Clinic is located on the 4th Floor of the Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion and offers state-of-the-art diagnostic services, treatment, multi-discliplinary management of the many symptoms and complications that may arise in MS patients, and access to clinical trials and other research programs.  Services include neuro-opthamology, neuro-radiology, neuro-urology, neuro-otology, speech pathology, physical therapy, behavioral neurology, and full infusion services.

Dr. John Corboy examines a patient in the MS Clinic at Anschutz Medical Campus.

State of the art equipment includes two 3.0 Tesla MRI scanners.  The strength of the average MRI scanner is 1.5.  The most modern lab equipment and testing available is used to rule out disorders that mimic MS.  MS patients are advantaged by a range of services to treat symptoms including fatigue, movement and balance disorders, cognitive disfunction, vision and speech problems, and issues with bladder and bowel function. In addition, access to clinical trials and research that is minimally available elsewhere is maximally available at the Rocky Mountain MS Center at Anschutz Medical Campus.  The MS Clinic accepts most insurance plans.  For an appointment or more information, please call 303.788.4030, x100.

Rocky Mountain MS Center Clinic at Potomac Street

In alliance with the Metro Community Providers Network (MCPN), the Rocky Mountain MS Center has opened a new clinic designed to provide MS specialty care to patients without adequate health insurance coverage. MCPN was founded in 1989 by community leaders in response to a lack of health care services for the working poor. Collaboration between the two organizations will lead to a much needed service for people living with MS in the Denver area. For a referral or more information, please contact 303-788-4030, x100.
