Fatigue Management

Learn how to incorporate a variety of energy conservation strategies into your daily life with the help of a licensed occupational therapist. Strategies include:

  • Banking and budgeting your energy
  • Learning the importance of rest and use of technology
  • Balancing your schedule by setting priorities
  • Using effective communication and proper body mechanics
  • Use of ergonomics
  • Decreasing the effect of heat

 

This course is designed to give you the tools necessary to properly manage your MS-related fatigue in order to live a more active lifestyle.

 

The program will consist of one 2-hour session every Tuesday for six weeks. Sessions will use lecture, small and large and large group discussion, and activity stations to teach course content. Homework activities designed to incorporate information into daily life will be given as well.

 

A fee of $35 will be charged for the 6-week course. Space is limited and registration is required. To register, go to www.mscenter.org or call 303-788-4030 X100.
