Depleted, Wiped Out and Befuddled? Coping Strategies for the Invisible Effects of MS
Posted by haruf

Saturday, October 14 2006, 9:00am - 12:00pm

This seminar will address the invisible impact of MS including fatigue, depression and cognitive symptoms, concentrating on practical ways to manage them. Keynote speaker, Jeffrey N. Gingold, is the author of "Facing the Cognitive Challenges of Multiple Sclerosis." He will speak about his compelling personal struggle with the cognitive aspects of MD. He calls it his "mental wheelchair." A former trial attorney and a recent guest on the Montel Williams Show, Mr.  Gingold provides organizational strategies and tactical advice.

With the assistance of a panel of people living with MS, we will use the concluding hour for discussion.
